Educating is All About the Numbers

The exciting and defeating thing about a growing a practice is that you must always keep growing the practice.  We all know that when something stops growing it is starting to die.  Yes you can hit the streets and find new patients that need our help but how can we empower our patients to bring their friends and family to us.  Think about it wouldn't it be nice if we had all of our patients being ambassadors for our practice and telling others that they are treated by the best doctor in town and that doctor is YOU!!  So how can you create this army of practice ambassadors?  This is what we are going to talk about over the next few weeks.

One of the first steps to immobilize your army is to equip them.  No you're not going to give each patient a spine model and hand full of business cards to carry around town.  What you do need to do is to educate your patients so they can tell their friends, family members, coworkers, and even the strangers on the street as to what chiropractic can correct.

If your patient let's call him Daniel is coming to you because of a kink in his neck and you never educate him about what all chiropractic can do you could miss the following patients that are in Daniel's life everyday.

You know the guy Daniel works out with at the gym with everyday who has been having knee problems.

What about Daniel's coworker who has noticed that her back is getting hunched over because of all of her time on the computer.

Daniel's daughter has been suffering ear aches for as long as he can remember and nothing is helping.

How awesome would it be if Daniel knew that chiropractic can help with each of these conditions and can send these friends and family members to you to help?  So it all starts with educating Daniel, what are you waiting for?  Go EDUCATE Daniel.

These are just to name a few I would love to hear about some tools you use in your clinic to educate patients so email me at info@totalclinicsolutions.com so I can add to the list of ideas.  Together we can change the world one patient at a time.
